A Tradition Unlike Any Other
Every summer, the Fremont Public School Foundation invites golfers of all skill levels to the Jim Ebers Golf Classic—a spirited 4‑person scramble named in 2014 to honor Jim Ebers’ decades of support for our schools. In 2025, the event tees off on Monday, July 14th at the scenic Fremont Golf Club, where players can enjoy a day on the greens while directly contributing to teacher grants, student scholarships, and classroom enhancements across Fremont Public Schools.
The tournament kicks off with registration at 12:00 p.m., followed by a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start. Limited to the first 32 teams, the Classic features green fees, cart rental, a commemorative gift, dinner, complimentary refreshments, and pin prizes. Teams may register at $150 each (with a discounted rate of $100 for Fremont Golf Club members), and sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses or groups looking to highlight their community commitment.
