Learning by Doing!
Fremont High School Introduction to Healthcare students are building real-world skills through hands-on practice! Last week students worked on donning and doffing personal protective equipment (PPE), an essential skill for protecting both healthcare workers and patients.
Working in the lab gives students the opportunity to practice these skills in a hands-on setting, build confidence, and develop safe habits that will benefit them in future healthcare careers. We love watching our students learn by doing! 💛👩⚕️👨⚕️

The FHS Varsity Football game is under a lightning delay. The earliest kickoff will be 8:00 pm. Updates will follow when an official kick off time is determined.
Update - the Junior Tiger Cheer performance will be moved to next week, Friday, September 25.
7:30 pm Update - We remain committed to playing tonight’s game. We are continuing to monitor the weather and must wait until 30 minutes after the last lightning strike before beginning warm-ups. Additional updates will be provided as more information is available.
9:15 pm Update - The teams have taken the field for warm ups. Kickoff will be at 9:51 pm.

The FHS SkillsUSA chapter returned to Fremont with one State Champion and two 3rd place finishes by Keyli Lopez Rosales in Basic Health Care Skills and Joseph Ondracek in Carpentry. By becoming champion in a National qualifying event, Bella is now invited to represent FHS as Nebraska’s high school masonry representative at the National SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference in Atlanta, GA, June 1-5, 2026.

🎉 Congratulations to the FHS Swimming and Diving Team on their amazing weekend at State Swimming & Diving! 🎉
🏆 We had our first state champ in swimming since 1973 with Elliot Vech bringing home the gold in both the 100 freestyle and 200 freestyle individual events!
🏆 Zayne Keslar, Elliot Vech, Dominic Morrison, and Jacob Hanson were a part of our first ever state champion relay team from FHS in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
🏅 Zayne Keslar earned 3rd place in the 200 freestyle and 4th place in the 100 butterfly and Jacob Hanson earned 4th place in the 50 freestyle and 3rd place in the 100 breaststroke.
🥈 The boys 400 freestyle relay brought home silver with the team of Zayne Keslar, Garrett Nielsen, Jacob Hanson, and Elliot Vech.
🏅 On the girls team, we had a 16th place finish from Kennedy Zehner in the 100 breaststroke and 15th place finishes for both of our 200 relays. The team of Hannah Huenink, Kennedy Zehner, Alexis Rasmussen, and Kami Spilinek in the 200 Medley Relay, and Zehner, Spilinek, Huenink, and Rasmussen in the 200 Freestyle Relay.
