FHS Stadium Scoreboard

Fremont, Neb. – (June 17, 2025) Fremont Public Schools is pleased to announce the naming of Fremont High School’s new competition stadium, Dillon Stadium to honor the commitment of the Dillon Family to Fremont High School. The naming was approved at the June 9 Board of Education meeting.  The Dillon family gave the cornerstone gift that provided the needed funds to make the High School stadium a competition complex.  Without their generous gift this would not have come to reality.

Board Secretary Todd Hansen noted, “Fremont High School is very fortunate to have a great supporter in the Dillon Family. They have supported the district in countless ways and naming the stadium honors the impact they have in the schools and community.”

Fremont Public Schools would also like to recognize the numerous other donors that committed funds to this project.

  • Goldman Sachs, through Travis Chmelka

  • Sawyer Construction - Tom Sawyer

  • S2 - Mitch Sawyer

  • John Bonow

  • Mark Guiliatt

  • Larry Ludvigsen and Jon Ludvigsen families

  • Tim and Shelly Ferguson

  • Gerry and Rhonda Gdowski

  • Jeremy Hemmer

Improvements to the facility include field turf, track, lighting, grandstands, home and visitor team rooms, concessions and restrooms. The stadium will officially open with the Fremont High School varsity football game against Bellevue East on Friday, August 29, 2025. This will be the first time in Fremont High School’s history that the Tigers have hosted a home game on the school’s campus.
